Spinvi can handle complex, ever-changing IT environments.
Spinvi’s core competency is its ability to architect and manage multiple IT environments simultaneously.
In an industry that is evolving as quickly as IT, that means always knowing what new technology is around the corner. And in the government space, it often means preparing for the next major infrastructure refresh, system upgrade, or policy change that forces a re-think of your way of doing business –all while maintaining continuity of operations for a sensitive mission.
Our team has demonstrated expertise with physical and virtual IT infrastructure running all types of commercial or government-developed software, and Spinvi engineers are expert system administrators capable of performing end-to-end testing or responding quickly to complicated troubleshooting requests. The company is skilled at operating Windows or Linux environments, primarily using VMware tools for virtual administration, that may include thousands of servers.
Spinvi also has long-time experience doing IT enterprise architecture planning, design, and implementation, most notably through the Defense Health Agency’s Desktop to Datacenter (D2D) program. The D2D program standardizes the IT infrastructure throughout the Department of Defense’s medical enterprise, which will ultimately support the deployment of a new, commercially derived electronic health record system called MHS GENESIS.
Spinvi’s responsibility on D2D involves migrating existing IT functions and user data at hundreds of military health locations onto a DHA-managed network without disrupting critical medical or administrative tasks. Despite the challenges associated with this work — namely the huge and diverse user base within the DoD medical community and the varying IT infrastructure at Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps medical facilities — Spinvi has shown over and over that it has the collective skill and positive attitude needed to achieve successful results for its customers.
